Our community lost one of its most notable residents a few weeks ago. Her name was Gypsy Rose, and she was quite a person. Born as Eddie, she went on to become a priest. She lived with us as her true self and everyone who knew her admired her courage and tenacity. She was known as a kind and compassionate soul who had a knack for finding humor in most situations. At her memorial service on the beach, a friend spoke of her this way. "Gypsy was a good man, a good priest, and a good woman." That sums it up for me. We will miss your physical presence with us Gypsy. Below is our beachfront memorial gathering.
